Thank you all for the comments!
Maggie, I can handle if I get a low deductible like that. I'm just grateful the Medicare kicked in this month since the medicaid is ending this month.
I never heard of this particular plan. However I would love to share with you all , because my income is so low in California I qualify for all of my medical expenses through Kaiser’s Charitable Trust Fund. However I have to pay my monthly premiums of $84.00! Another interesting fact , through the 8 years I have been on Kaiser theirs is the only premium which has consistently gone down by over$30! I am extremely happy with my choice. It allows me to live a terrific lifestyle on less than $30k annually and my rent is over $1000 monthly plus Cable over $120 and electricity over $100.California is so expensive to live.! But my 2 children and four grandkids live here so I won’t be leaving! Hope this sharing is helpful. Paula
Hello Carol,
I have an advantage health plan with United health but, also Medicaid. I get disability for the last 13 years but, that is for MS. I get just about everything covered but dental and eyes. Good luck!
Hi Carol2015, I have the advantage plan with supplemental uhc. I’m happy with it. My sister has a different one, some of her benefits are better than mine. Next open enrollment I’ll be checking out others.
I was on disability for one year. When I turned 65 I was cut off. Just get my CPP and OAP now. Thank goodness we have good medical coverage
