Is There Anything That Helps Tendons Damaged By RA? (Or Even Soothes The Pain?)

Hi In Dec. my little finger just stopped working, it was useless, saw a surgeon, I did not know RA ruptured tendons, Jan 6 had a tendon transferee surgery still working on range of motion, Sept, will be having same surgery on left hand, this time tendon rupture of my thumb .

I am sorry to hear this pain is chronic, can you be referred to a pain management specialist? Hope you get some relief.

Hi Kristin
Is your Rheumatologist aware of your pain in your tendons?
Tendon/Ligament Tear and Rupture Treatments
-Using a brace for a while.
-Physical therapy and a slow return to physical activity.
-RICE (rest, ice, compression, and elevation).
-Anti-inflammatory drugs.
