The pain from my Bakers cyst has made it practically impossible to walk. Has anyone else experienced a Bakers cyst...if so what did you do for it? They say there is no "cure" and that it could last for months or even YEARS! The pain is UNBEARABLE!
Try to let it resolve on it's own. Go to PT. I was in so much pain and doc removed all cartilage while doing it. Now i have knee problems due to no cartilage!
Yes, I forgot to mention that I have RA. I'm reading that RA can cause these cysts. Or arthritis in the knee, and I have both.
I had a knee replacement in 2021 it helped me out a lot now I don’t walk with a limp but I have a baker’s cyst in my left that I had replaced and I have several cysts in my right now I have to go for some tests to see what is going on I also was told that I need both shoulders replaced I HATE RA!!!!
Oh no! Sounds aggressive!
I spoke with my surgeon's office this morning and they also suggested "riding it out"....no surgery!. That being said, this surgeon knows that this knee has "severe arthritis " and needs replaced this year. What I am hoping is that he will schedule the knee replacement earlier and take care of the cyst at the same time. I mean, WHY NOT?
Thank you for responding. This RA crap really throws a wrench into the works, doesn't it? I tend to blame every little ache and pain on the RA and it is dangerous because there most definitely could be something else totally unrelated going on. My RA doctor calls RA the "Velcro disease" because we blame all aches and pains on it.
