On my MRI it shows osteophyte growth- a long word for bone spurs. Osteophytes are typically seen in osteoarthritis. I have pain throughout both hands so I can't really distinguish what is causing the pain. I did read that pain from osteo may act up more in the evening after all day use. The RA showed up as inflammation on the MRI and bone erosions. I basically have pain and a certain amount of stiffness in both hands all day

Yes. I have both, and it’s hard for me to know which one is acting up more on any given day. How can you tell if it’s RA or osteo?

Yes I do and it crazy when both of them flare same time. I actually have several different y types of arthritis. Have a good day
