In 1995 I became unwell with severe joint pain which then turned to breathing difficulties. I ended up in hospital where I was eventually diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis or Crypto Genetic Fibrosing Alviolitis (now known as Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) which is a terminal disease. I had more tests and it turned out the diagnosis was wrong although my lungs were damaged. Anyway, about 3 years later I contracted Rheumatoid Arthtitis. I assumed at the time that both conditions were connected because of the effect on my immune system.
