Unfortunately immediately following the initial infection, I was unable to move off my couch. Literally crawled on the floor. Handfuls of hair came out leaving large pink patches. My joints and muscles hurt deeply. For a year it felt like an ice pick stabbing me in the head in various locations. Literally swallowed between 1500-1800 like candy. I tried distilled cannabis drops that seemed to help some. My poor hands/thumbs, knees, and feet really hurt. Chronic fatigue. Couldn’t work for several months. It felt like a train going through my brain. It subsided but still very painful. Ok I’m done. Sorry TMI going to sleep.

I had a flu shot in early October 2023 and the latest covid shot in early December 2023. For each of the shots I skipped the weekly dose of Methotrexate. I did have a return of some symptoms a week or so after skipping the doses. Those symptoms subsided and am doing pretty good now.

Yes!!!! Don’t get the covid shots - lots of us with RA got really hurt!
