Yes I had two of them In my wrist’s. Oddly enough 2 days before surgery to remove it just went away after a very long time. And they never returned. Guess my body did not want surgery.

I had a bakers cyst removed/aspirated behind my knee the week before my diagnosis of RA. The synovial fluid returned 3 days after aspirated. Then the fluid occurred in more areas and was causing inflammation on both knees. Then fingers, feet, etc. Not sure if a coincident. Not sure of anything🥴

Elyse and Jeannie all cysts have sac walls. That is what holds the fluid or the skin cells. Cysts do not have roots. Sorry. The sac needs to be taken out so the Cyst does not come back. If the Surgeon does not take it out the the CHRST will return. It is the same way with any cyst wether it’s on a hand a face your back the back of your knee anywhere the sac must be taken out. I hope this helps. Thanks. 😉😉

What a horrible seller I am. Geez. I meant to say if the surgeon does not take the whole sac wall out whether it’s a Ganglion cyst or any type of cyst it will grow back. If you have a Ganglion cyst on your wrist it needs to be removed by a hand Specialist.
