A few weeks ago I started to get tingling in my hand, it’s like a cold burning sensation, now it is travelling up my arm to my elbow, it happens everyday several times a day, is it connected with my RA, and should I see my Rheumatologist about it

Thanks guys, I’ve got an appointment coming up with my rheumatologist, I’ll mention it to him see what he says, and I’ll make an appointment with my GP if it’s not connected to get a referral for further tests as it’s now my whole arm

There are a lot of conditions that can cause tingling sensations, so it’s probably worth it to rule out other potential culprits before accepting an explanation that RA is the cause. My tingling sensations ended up being symptoms of MS, and my rheumatologist incorrectly assumed some of my other early symptoms were caused by my RA.

Yes. It could be coming from your disks. That happened to me

I would mention it next visit though I doubt that your Rheumy would be concerned. For example, I get random muscle soreness, like I overdid on a workout (but clearly didn't do a workout of any sort). (It is usually my biceps). I guess that my RA is responsible either from an inflamatory response or an actual bit of strain because I have lost some muscle strength but use my arms as u always have. RA can affect many body parts in unusual ways. Perhaps your tingling sensation is from your RA or maybe it's about early sign of something neurologic. I mentioned my muscle pain to my Rheumy and he told me that it wasn't my RA🤍💛.
