Has anyone had positive experience Paxlovid for Covid

I tested positive for Covid two days ago. My primary care doctor & my Rheumatologist recommended that I start the Paxlovid. I started the medication this morning. Has anyone taken Paxlovid, and was it helpful in shortening the duration and keeping Covid symptoms from increasing?
