Hydroxychloroquine

Any positives to this drug? Just started last week. How long until you saw a difference? I feel more swollen and stiff since starting it is that normal should I stick with it?

Plaquenil can help a lot! And it has fewer side effects than many drugs. Most RA drugs take a while to work. Be patient.

I didn’t find it to work as well as methotrexate on its own but found it to work well in conjunction with sulfasalazine and/or methotrexate. Biggest positive is minimal side effects.
