I have been in pain and my medication is not working yet as I have had to stop it due to infection. I have so many plans coming up that require all day excersion and being outside. I have found little to help me throughout the day and the next day I'll feel it 10 times worse. Any suggestions?

I use a heating pad all the time it helps sometimes. Try tropical Lotion. They say that Biofreeze helps try it

I agree with everyone else on the heating pad. Also, depending on the severity of your pain and where it is, I would really recommend yin yoga, which is pretty much a lot of stretching, if you don't know. Those two things are the only things that mildly help me
I really hope you find some relief while you wait for your meds to work. I'm going through that now, going onto a higher dose of my med, and it stinks

I use small heating devices (electric heating pad, sock filled with rice in microwave) and lots hot baths with some oils ( to avoid dryness), it really helps the aches. I force myself out of bed because I know mobility and ROM (range of motion) will make me feel better than laying in bed or on couch. Eventually it is tolerable. Work on your worst joint first, heat, then slow movements .

Don’t feel that way if you need to be in a wheelchair you have to be in a wheelchair I wasn’t comfortable with the wheelchair I thought I was too young to be in a wheelchair. But I had no choice sometimes I use it and sometimes I don’t but right now I’m using it a whole lot so think about it

@A myRAteam Member It's more like a waiting game since I haven't taken the meds consistantly. But I wasn't expecting that when making a whole summer full of plans ha ha. I thought about asking for a wheel chair- but I am only 20 and I can walk perfectly fine, it's just painful- so I feel like I would be coddling myself.
