CAN IT?

CAN IT?

CHRONIC. DEGENERATIVE It consumes. Slowly. Eventually. It consumes. Our energy. Our bodies. Our minds. And on very very bad days, it even takes our desire to live, because our life as we once knew it, no longer exists. But there is something inside each one of us that is our essence, the energy of our existence, our strength, our will, our wisdom, and it cannot take that.

Thanks for sharing. I have a bible verse on the wall in my office. John 1:5 "The light shines in the darkness & the DARKNESS can never extinguish it." Whatever your "Darkness" is, you are the light.

I have degenerative disc , I like to reach for an ice pack for 20 min. and lay down.

Then I will sit in a supportive chair wit a cushion for my spine.

I have put a lift 4 inch lift under the chair and the couch.

Makes it so much easier to get up from where I am sitting.

I believe to reach down inside of me and live each day to the fullest. I have seen amazing things in my life that I have lived thru.

When I was a little girl I was in a Volkswagen van with my parents and brothers and sisters. And we were going over a long tall bridge and a large gust of wind came in window and flipped the van off the highway,I think we landed lowland by the water.

In 2019 I went to a psychiatrist that was able to stop my post traumatic Stress disorder. I suffered for so many years from childhood to 67 yrs.

I was not able to drive the car over any bridge, any overpass. I always had to pull over and ask someone else to drive. If I did try I would get sweaty, dizzy & faint. When I rode as a passenger I held my breath and it was uncomfortable then too.
