I was just diagnosed in January and was put on this med. It is the least invasive to the body (except eyes which my doc said is a very slim chance that would happen) So far a few months in I have been doing okay BUT I have changed my diet and lost weight too so not sure which is helping more. I did experience some stomach issues and it made a little dizzy and tired. I have to stay active and eat a clean organic diet along with meds. My diet has helped with fatigue! Hopefully it will keep me going for a long time. Good to see you are supporting your wife as it will help her. You're in this together...

Ive been on it since 2012 i have to have my eyes checked yearly though and last month my rheumatologist reduced it to 100 mg daily

I am on Plaquinil or hyroxychloroquin as well. Only been on for a little over a week now so too soon to tell if it is helping. Rheumotologist said it could take 3 months to feel full effects and determine if we need to try something different. Is your wife having success with it?
