Members shared their experiences receiving a fourth COVID-19 vaccine dose, with most confirming they had gotten the additional shot as recommended for people with suppressed immune systems due to medications like Humira or methotrexate. Several members noted important differences between vaccine brands, with Moderna's fourth dose being a half-strength booster while Pfizer's remained a full dose, and timing varied from three months to a year between doses. A recurring concern was the impact on rheumatoid arthritis management, as some members experienced significant flares after temporarily stopping methotrexate for the vaccine, leading others to hesitate about getting the fourth dose.

I am here in the UK and have had four full doses. The first two were Astra Zeneca and the second two were Pfizer. The first was in January 2021 and the last was January 2022, so three months apart. With the Pfizer jabs I was told not to take Methotrexate for one week after the jab. The side effects were standard, and I did not feel much different to the way I always feel after a flu jab.

Yes. That what I’m being told but the pharmacist at Walgreens said she has never given 4 Covid shots to one person.
