Members exchanged warm morning greetings and shared what brings them joy, from simple blessings like opening their eyes each morning, sleeping through the night, and being able to walk despite chronic pain, to gratitude for loving families, pets, and the support of their community. Several members offered lighthearted humor about everyday challenges like forgetting appointments, surviving phone calls, packing for trips, and especially the universal dread of dusting, with many agreeing that leaving knickknacks in boxes is excellent housekeeping strategy. A recurring theme was finding reasons to smile and count blessings even while living with conditions like RA, with members offering each other encouragement, laughter, and genuine care throughout the day.

How do we send Pat over to this thread so she can read it? You are the expert. We all nominated you. You've got the job. Congratulations!

Good idea. Mine are mostly still in boxes in storage facility. Out of sight, out of mind, out of reach. No dusting involved. I would actually like to see some of them after 13 years in storage. But not all. And books. Oh my gosh , my husband's books!! Nightmare waiting to happen. I think I'll poor myself a glass of wine. Forget about books - and packing clothes.

It’s so lovely to hear what everyone is thankful for! Thank you for sharing with me. It helps to remind me of my own blessings. It’s easy with RA to lose site of the good things and let’s face it, we need as many good things as we can get! Hope everyone has a painless or less pain day!

That's incredibly good planning, plus your keeping them safe from breakage, win win.
Have an amazing time away, with no suffering in any way. We can't wait to hear all about it. X

Alas, nothing gives me "up and go" anymore. I try, but honestly, I'm always pooped. Yesterday was definitely harder than most, so I decided a more relaxing day was in order. 😉
