Has Anyone Had A Severe Inflammatory Response After A Total Hip Replacement?

I hope you all heal more sooner than later. It makes sense that our bodies would over react to normal surgeries and foreign bodies.
I hd surgery on my knee several years back and it took about 10 monrhs to heal. I’m also dealing with a fractured leg right now (since December), which won’t heal. Lots of pain and swelling. I've seen my rheumatologist several times and he wanted me off the prednisone. Next up, I will be consulting with a pain specialist. Long story short, recovery can be extremely challenging when you have RA. I hope you find relief.
I had a hip replacement almost a year ago and definitely had a RA flare up afterwards. I am on methotrexate but it makes me feel like I’m going to blow up. Hope you are doing better.
