Members shared mixed feelings about getting the COVID vaccine while managing autoimmune conditions, with most seeking guidance from their rheumatologists before making a decision. Several members confirmed the vaccine contains no live virus and uses mRNA technology, and those who received it reported mostly mild side effects like increased pain or achiness for a day, with some doctors recommending temporarily pausing medications like methotrexate to maximize antibody response. A recurring theme was the importance of consulting your own care team, timing the vaccine to avoid flares, and weighing personal risk factors like working in healthcare or having had COVID previously.

To all who read this, I pray you will consider getting the vaccine.
I have worked in the pharmaceutical end of the business for my career.
My views bias.
COVID-19 vaccinations will be made available soon.
Phyllis and her doctor are correct!
There are only two vaccines available today. They are both designed with mRNA technology.
They have no virus in them at all.
Using very new technology that has been my entire careers work - it is nothing more than an email to your immune system giving it the exact blueprint to defeat the virus COVID-19.
I pray that you will receive, no matter what your choice, all good, healthy and happy experiences into your life.
Please take this seriously.
Choose life!

I have an appointment to take it Friday. I was told not to take Methotrexate this week because it might weaken the antibodies from the vaccine. I already had corona virus and I do not want it again so will take the vaccine.
