Yes, I stopped before having surgery last time and just recently for the surgery I just went through. Last time, I did okay. This time I think maybe it has thrown me into a flair. I have also been on prednisone and have stopped it due to the surgery. The RA is killing me!

I take a weekly injection of methotrexate. I'm doing quite well with this and hydroxychloroquine dose 2 times a day. My RA specialist will have to give me very clear reasoning as to why I should stop. Bottom line, I hope you feel better. Flares are no fun. I recently started tai chi and pilates. I do 15 minute pilates workouts 5-6 days a week. I'm surprised and pleased by how much my daily pain has diminished. My energy level is up to. Next task is to lose some pounds. My joints would love me for it.

Yes I stoped Enbrel for 5 weeks and I am having a Flare up. So I started them again every other week. I will let you know how I am.the other one gave me glaucoma so be careful. Good luck

I had to stop Enbrel and Arava for 7 weeks, made it well for the first 5 weeks before I had a flare

I take methotrexate my mouth. 6 every Tuesday 2.5 mg each tab.
