How Long Should It Take For My Body To Adjust To Methotrexate Side Effects?

Keeping in mind that Methotrexate is a low dose cancer fighting drug, try to stay aware of your digestion and take good care of your stomach even when you feel like you're tolerating it ok! It took me a good 90 days to figure it out.

Hi Kimberly, thanks for your reply & sir taken so long to acknowledge, but have been really unwell. Excuse my ignorance but what is LDN? And yes I have to look at my diet but the problem is I’m unbelievably fussy about what I eat, extremely limited, by plant based you mean mainly base my diet around vegetables. Love some examples of the type of meals you mean, to see if I’m any chance of stomaching it!
Hope your well & life is treating you well!
Thanks Mark

I just lasted 2 injections of methotrexate, 3-4 days of keel over stomach cramps, the Rheumatologist wanted me to give it another 4 tries to see if I could glee used to it but talked him into trying Avaya which I’ve been on a little over 2 weeks & it upset my stomach a little bit at first but absolutely not in the same universe as the methotrexate injections, although if the Avaya tablets don’t help then from the way he was talking he still wants me to try it again, don’t know how I’m going to be able to do it let alone being that sick for days, so I would also like to know if anyone had Thant bad of a reaction & if persevered did the side effects go away?
