When you get on the right meds you should feel MUCH better. Diet and exercise are key in managing RA. My disease was in remission for 15 years...
It’s strange for sure. I worked out pretty hard this morning. Felt like my old self. Last week, I couldn’t wash my hair my arms were so tired. It’s just crazy!
RA is a hard diagnosis. I have had RA for15 years and just had my first flare and it was awful. Aqua therapy helps. I am always hopeful and plan to manage this disease.
Thank you! I know something is wrong. I just really didn’t expect RA.
Ive had RA 22 years. As the years go by the fatigue has increased. Alot can affect fatigue. Stress, Menses or menapause,to much activity, virus, infection. Everytime I have to pause my xlaganz and methotrexate my fatigue and pain increase as the pause goes longer. Dont assume every biologic works for you. Humira made my legs so weak I couldnt get up the stairs. I took one IV and had absolutely no affect. A patient once told me rest 15minutes every hour. You have to plan rest into your day. When I shop I stop to read a book or have lunch in the middle. Best of Luck you can do this.
