Does anyone have muscle soreness where the skin and muscles feel extremely tender?

Today I woke up with a soreness from my shoulders, ribcage, back, and rear that has caused me to feel so tender it hurts to the touch. I've had this before but not to this extreme and not usually for more than an hour or two. I can't even wear a bra because it's too painful. If you've experienced this, what do you do? Im miserable. Thanks for your help.

Talk to ur PCP or rheumy about ur symptoms.
Fibromyalgia is s diagnosis of exclusion, there are no blood test, imaging tests, etc, .... really no way to absolutely confirm one “has it” like with RA. Certain very specific pressure point pain sites on one’s body can help doc decide if one has it. Also, there is no cure and no direct meds to combat it, like there is with RA.
So, docs can only treat fibromyalgia symptoms. Two rxs typically may help with those....Lyrica and cymbalta. But always follow the advice and recommendations of your doctors.
Btw, fibromyalgia, while painful, is not a life threatening disease. It’s also not a joint destroying disease nor does it pose extra glandular risks like RA.
Best wishes
