Methotrexate And The Feeling Of Having A Lump In My Throat? Any Connection?

The last few weeks I have noticed this when swallowing. No infection. Feel fine otherwise.
Recently my rheumy increased my folic acid to 5mg daily except meth day cuz I was getting the odd mouth sore. Hmmm?

Thanks... Good to know. How many mg of methotrexate are you taking weekly?
I"m on 20 mg meth. Have just been scripted 5mg of leucovorin per week taken the day after methotrexate day. Is a stronger version of Folic... Shall see... Lol

Today my Rheumy prescribed me folinic acid that I am to take once a week the day after methotrexate day. Says it should help with the sores. Fingers crossed...

I take 8 2.5 mg tablets of Methotrexate weekly. I started with 6 and we upped it after deciding it wasn’t enough. After a goodnyear or so instarted adding Humira shots bi-monthly.

I have been on Methotrexate formabout anyear and have been prescribed a daily dose of Folic acid since the beginning. Thepharmacist even recommended it. Ive had no trouble.
