Good afternoon all. Just wondering if anyone has tried wrist braces when they are swollen and very sore. I really don't want to buy any if there is no relief. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Members overwhelmingly recommended wrist braces as an effective tool for managing swollen, painful wrists, with many sharing that wearing them at night or during activities like driving, lifting, and work provides significant relief. Several members emphasized investing in higher-quality braces from medical supply pharmacies rather than cheaper versions from grocery stores, and some also suggested trying Isotoner or Hand-eze arthritis gloves as an alternative or complement. A recurring theme was that braces have become an essential part of daily life for many managing joint pain, with one member sharing success managing inflammation through strict dietary changes like the autoimmune paleo protocol.

Here is A link that will give you lots of information . https://www.thepaleomom.com/start-here/the-auto...
Foods affect different people different ways but there are some common Foods that are problematic . When I first began changing the way I ate it was difficult but I have learned there are tons of food I can eat now. As an example I had never eaten plantains before or jicama. Even the fllours I use are different Such as cassava flour and
Tigernut. I’ve even learned to make biscuits out of pumpkin LOL. it’s definitely not what I was used to, but has certainly paid off for me .

Miss Moe- I have stayed strict following auto immune paleo and Gundry protocol for a year now with good results. Diet does affect my inflammation/flares.
I have to avoid all grains, dairy, night shade vegetables (tomatoes, potatoes, egg plant, goji berries and all peppers), eggs, yeast and mushrooms. I don’t use any sugars or sugar substitutes, nor do I eat any prepared foods. I have been managing my RA with diet and no medications.
