Members validated the shared experience of unexplained chills without fever, describing a bone-deep coldness that's difficult to shake despite cranking up the heat or piling on blankets. Several members found relief through practical strategies like using heating pads and electric blankets, taking warm showers, sipping hot tea, driving with the car heater on high, or even taking ibuprofen to break the feverish feeling. A recurring theme was the body's confusing temperature regulation, with many experiencing wild swings between freezing cold and overheating, leading to humorous household battles over thermostats and fans.

I am wondering if this does not affect our abilities to regulate heat and cold. It seems like humidity especially saps the life right out of me so I can’t even go outside sometimes in the summer because I wilt

I do you get chills sometimes usually when I’m in a bit of a flareup. It feels like I’m cold down in my bones but I don’t have a fever though I feel like I do. If I drink something like hot tea that will help warm me up. Sometimes I even take ibuprofen and it feels like it breaks the fever even though I don’t register is having one. It’s quite odd

That's me too! Thank goodness. I eat Sonic ice constantly. It's like a compulsion. I have Sjogrens so my mouth is constantly dry.so I chew ice. I stopped for a while, well...for 1 day but didn't make much difference. One day when the nurse took my temp it was 94.7. She kept retaking it. It was hilarious. She used every kind of temp gage they had. Now it's normal. My body's just weird.
