They last as long as there is inflammation out of control in your body. Drs. usually Rx a short term of prednisone......maybe for a wk. or 10 days with a weaning off program. Hope you are feeling better and get some rest. Do whatever you can as tolerated. Prayers for you.

I agree with Sandy. There is no answer. As soon as I feel it coming on I go see my Rhemy Dr. Don't make yourself suffer any longer than you have too. He also gives me enough meds, just in case I feel it coming on.

Days to weeks for me. There is no set pattern.
