Members overwhelmingly endorsed wearing gloves at night to manage cold hands and joint pain, with many finding that compression gloves help reduce swelling and stiffness in their knuckles and fingers. Several members shared creative solutions, including fingerless arthritis gloves, moisturized hands with tube socks, cotton gloves over Vaseline for skin issues, and heated underblankets for cold or humid nights. A recurring theme was that keeping hands warm relieves pain, though members with Raynaud's noted that fingerless gloves can actually make fingertips colder by restricting blood flow, recommending full-coverage knit gloves or mittens instead.

Yes I do almost every night and it helps. It helps with keeping the swelling down in my knuckles. I just ordered full some arthritis gloves which covers my fingers. Will let you know how they do

I have worn them at night as well as during the day--I would definitely recommend it when you're having stiffness and pain in your hands.

Ok, I am cheap. I put socks on my hands. I read once that mountain climbers take an extra pair with them in case of emergency. So I moisture my hands and use the old "tube socks" at night. You can find them at flie markets.

You are right on not keeping the hands warm, it helps with swelling. Lol I live on a heater at work, always cold.
