Anyone Had Issues While Taking Diflunac?

I have been taking diflunac for quite some time but recently started to have some issues with my stomach. I read an article that this nsaid many times caues abdominal pain, diarrhea, and heart issues. What are your thoughts? And experiences?

My doctor told me he prescribed nsaids frequently when they first came out but through the years, he has seen so many patients (both his and colleagues) have serious GI issues caused by them, he refuses to prescribe them at all anymore. He recommends 600 mg Tylenol x 2 morning and night. Never exceed 3000 mg/day.

I’ve taken Diclofenac for many years. It really helps but you don’t realize it until you have to go off of it. The only problems I’ve had is stomach issues. Every six months I have to either go off it for a month or take half as much. After the tummy is better I start back. It’s very hard on your stomach.

was taking diflunac for a couple of years for pain and my last blood tests showed slight kidney function changes so I quit it. Now I am not taking any meds trying to control pain through diet. On the Mediterranean diet and my pain isn't as bad as it has been. Down from an 8 to a 3
