Has anyone been hospitalized for their RA? If so why? How long? And what was the treatment?

@A myRAteam Member Hi, Yes, I was early this year. I was inconsistent with my IV Remicaide. I had a cold, three days later I was in the hospital with the beginning stage of Interstitial Pneumonia. IP is a common RA complication. Not fun at all. I was overseas and the care was outstanding. They treated me for a bacterial pneumonia, but all my labs were negative. It was Interstitial Pneumonia. It went away after 5 days in the hospital. I had respiratory treatments around the clock and IV fluids so I wouldn't get dehydrated. I could barely eat, barely walk. Two days after I was home I was eating and going shopping. Lol. Strange illness, indeed!
