I have for years. I once thought it was just from dry skin or some work thing but no matter what I use it reappears. Now that I think about my father alsohad them
Try coconut oil it works wonderful from head to toe.
after reviewing my research I found that Oxidative Stress seem to cause damage to the bodies cell membrane and in turn creates Connective Tissue disorder. In my family that has been positively diagnosed. I believe that is which causes damage to all tissues including organ and bone hence the relationship to damaged heart, kidney, skin and membranes in the joints. I am wondering that since you touch and lift more things with your fingers that abrasions would show first. I don't have any of the other things mentioned and my blood is analyzed every three months which I ask my rheumatologist do so that we can mark any changes.
HI William, Just able to respond, yes I have both, I also have Psoriatic Arthritis and RA. PSA causes the nails to thicken, thin to the point they are down to the nail bed and painful, white patches, nails fall off, skin get extremely dry there are 7 forms of psoriasis, I have two. It is important for me to moisturize and do my best to bake in the sun even just 5 minutes. The UV rays help with nails. Mention to your doctor.
I have a friend with Reynauds and she gets sores on the tips of her fingers... I don't know if this could be the same. I have RA and have also been recently diagnosed with Reynauds but for me it's my toes where the Reynauds affects me not my fingers... Just a thought.
Extremely dry, but not peeling on the fingers, my toes peel at the tips though, and feet are horribly dry. No lotion or oil seems to help it!
