Members deeply resonated with the feeling of being overwhelmed by constant doctor appointments and the exhausting cycle of specialist referrals, with many describing how managing rheumatoid arthritis has transformed their entire lives into an endless rotation of medical visits. Several members shared the emotional and logistical toll this takes, from the stress and physical exhaustion of getting to appointments to the frustration when doctors don't seem to understand how hard it is, with one member noting that doctor visits have become their closest thing to a social life since stopping work. A recurring theme was the need to take breaks when possible, lean on better weather and sunny days for emotional resilience, and give oneself permission to lay low and regroup before starting the cycle again.

A lot of the time I find I am overwhelmed with not only ra but my life! I cope so much better when it’s warm weather and sunny! I hope spring gets here soon! Sometimes I just have to lay low a few days and then regroup and get up and begin again with coping with ra!
