OT/Occupational Therapy
Does anyone with Rhemutoid Arthritis/Arthritis have ocupational therapy
My daughter has JRA and sees an OT and Physio at the hospital regularly. She finds it's really helpful because they are so highly trained and knowledgeable about RA. If you are considering I would say give it a try and see if it helps you.
Tai Chi practice every day. Sessions once a week. Remove all inflammatory foods from diet. McDougal's diet. No fluorides!
@ Jessicac4989. I’ve only had OT after I had surgery or when there were changes in my upper extremities function-wise. It’s mostly for ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living). They’ve been very helpful in finding ways to wash, dry off, put on shoes and socks 🧦, dress, cook and clean. Are you considering it? Insurance will pay 💰 for most of the equipment too.
I want to try and see if it helps . If you go please let me know ok
