I had both knees replaced two years ago. I should have done it years ago.i have better than normal rom, no knee pain and really don't think about my knees being replaced. It did not make my RA worse, I don't know how it could. You may have to stop some drugs the month or so of your surgery and that can increase your pain. My right knee felt better from the time I came to after surgery, and it got better from there. You do have to do you exercises but that is a small price to pay.

I got RA 1 month after my knee replacement. Try alternative cures before deciding. Good luck.

I would have to say that the majority of people do NOT get RA after knee replacement. I don't think there's a relevance.

My Husband had knee replacement surgery on 10/2/17 and is scheduled for his other Knee on 1/29/18. The doctor who did his surgery is at Mercy Medical in Baltimore Maryland. His name is Marc Hungerford. He is top notch. We really were blessed. Marc Hungerford is the doctor they send people to after they have had knee surgery gone wrong. Don't know if you would want to travel that far. But I can't believe the difference in my husbands one knee he already had done. It's amazing. He doesn't have RA, but has had bad knees for years. The doctor even said his right knee was a mess and even bend bones inside. Hope this helps. Hugs!
