I was officially diagnosed a year and a half ago. I started on Prednisone, which I still take as needed. Plaquenil did nothing and had a terrible reaction to Methotrexate so cant take that. Went on Humira but it took 4 months to finally have any impact. Dr felt it wasnt doing enough and I couldnt pay for it or get assistance so went off it. Been on the new med Kevzara (sp?) For 3 months now and dont feel like its doing anything except making me lose my hair. My inflammation was doubled last month when I went to the dr but he wants me to try this a little longer. Going to insist I try something new next month. Dr said theres like 12 different meds we can try. So hopefully one will work. Good luck!
