I am interested in finding out if this is a symptom of RA. I have patches of tingling or numbness or pins and needles in an area that I will become conscious of and then it will disappear. I have it under my feet, on my back or both my feet can go completely numb . It is never over a wide area and never lasts for more than 15-20 minutes.
What you are describing Drs call neuropathy. I have had that as a med side effect from a couple of meds I've taken. It is common for RA too though. Get a Dr to assist you in treating this. Left untreated it can become permanent and interfere with balance, etc in the future.
Yes its called neuropothy it has to do with messages your nerves are sending and its usually caused by something in your body. Set an appt with your doc asap for followup, even if its just your pcp. You may need to see a neuroligist to check the nerves for further issues down the road. I get it up to my knees on and off. And sometimes my arms
I get like a fuzzy tingling in my face when I lay down but it goes within a few minutes?
yes, I have that problem in my right wrist and my doctor (RA) told me the RA is causing it. I now have carpal tunnel syndrome in this wrist and was prescribed a wrist splint to wear at night.
I get this shooting burning pain that goes from my fingertips to my elbow and get random tingling or sharp poking all over my body. Haven’t had numbness yet
