Hi all
I'm going through the diagnoses process now. Two years ago I was told I have Raynaud's. I was in denile, thinking my symptoms were secondary to topamax, a migraine med I was on. I stopped the medication, but the symptoms continued. About a year ago I started having aches. I would blame it on working out, or various other things. When I could barely walk some mornings due to foot pain/stiffness, and also flares of finger swelling and pain, I decided to call my dr. They referred me… read more

I am sero neg. My rheumatologist told me that almost 25% of RA patients are sero neg, so don't let the neg blood results keep you from getting treatment.

My acupuncture person had childhood RA and was a nurse before acupuncture. Told me to eat as the caveman did. Fruit, vegetables, meat(I mostly eat chicken, fish and pork) stay away from canned or processed food. Additives can cause a lot of in inflammation. If I eat bread my hands swell up within two bites and my hands will be on fire. So fresh is the way to go, if you can afford organic it is evan better! Good luck

Might sound a little yucky but a drink I make helps some for inflammation and for viruses; 1 cup boiling water, 1/2 to one tsp turmeric, 1/2 to one tsp coconut oil, a little honey to taste. It's actually not bad and has cured sore throats symptoms for me just recently. Hope your journey gets better.

Hi - I was negative on my first blood work at 21 and was told I didn't have RA. Then when I was retested at 25 my markers came back somewhat positive. Since then they've only once more come back with an elevated level. My inflammation markers are always up and my WBC are always up as well.
My mom also has RA and she has had it since she was 23, she is now 58 and has only tested positive once.
I've hear tumeric is good for inflammation. Decrease junk food.
