I'm new to the site and newly diagnosed with RA. My symptoms have been here for almost a year but I had explanations for everything. I don't want to take medications. My rheumatologist is following me for a while as I try to treat myself naturally. I'm currently taking CBD oil. I had 2 bottles that were a low concentration. I recently bought a bottle that has 1.67mg of CBD per drop. I'm taking 6 drops under the tongue morning and night. There's trace THC in it. Has anyone had true success using… read more

No one can tell you how much to take. The varieties and types of CBD that is available now is huge. I've been taking it for months now and I take no prescriptions at all. I can't believe there is not more on this site about this. I read about the medicine prescribed to me and it's basically poison and refused to take it and found CBD. I went through 2 months of trial and error before I found my level. I take 30 mg 3 to 4 times a day. Most days just 3 unless an infrequent flare up might come up. Most times a flare up will happen when I get off my schedule. I make sure I take a dose before bed because it is the most frequent time for a flare up. No pain for 2 months now.

The 6 or 7 drops, to me, is not sufficient to get the relief you seek. I'm taking 30 mg. at a minimum 3 times a day. To be honest it is a big dose but I don't seem to have any side effects.

I'm taking Elixinol, I've tried other brands and the effect seemed to wane on me some. I've been on this for over 2 months now with no pain and no meds. I take a dropper full 3 times a day and sometimes 4 depending if I feel a flare up coming. Once you get it into your system you need to do your doses regardless of how good you may feel. The key is figuring out what amount is required for you. Everyone is different as to what they require to be without pain. I make sure I take a dose before bed because most of the time that is when my flare ups occur. Below is a link to what I use.
Hope this helps, anything else let me know.

I think you need to take more than a few drops/ Start with 0.25 ml and increase it gradually until you find the correct dosage for you to give you pain and inflammation relief.

While it may help with pain, CBD is not going to stop the disease progression. I would really encourage you to look at meds. RA is an incurable lifelong disease. I think you should do everything you can to slow it down.
