How can anyone on enbrel afford to retire? Medicare doesn't cover it. Any secondary insurance programs that do?

My current insurance covers @enbrel, but I can't afford to pay for the policy on my own. Does anyone know of any secondary insurance policies that cover @enbrel? I know that the drug maker has a reimbursement program, but it caps at $12,000/ year, which doesn't put enough of a dent in the $52,000 out of pocket cost.

Agree with the above. Also Call Amgen Support and ask them what programs they have for Medicare recipiants.

Call (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators) . When i was first put on Enbrel, i didn't have prescription drug coverage. I received a medical grant from the drug company. I received Enbrel for free.
