Yes, my diabetes is drug related to the Prednisone I take daily to keep me moving. I have found if I can walk a couple of miles in the AM with my dog, Lucky, after breakfast, it keeps the Blood Sugars more stable.
I check them 4x a day and use Insulin Coverage only as needed. Stress is my downfall and will "shoot them up every time!" I do my best to eat low carbohydrate, minimal sugar and keep moving either on land or in the pool. Those are the 3 main things I do to keep Blood Sugars down
I am learning to not get in others drama, and that helps much! I can give them support and encouragement, but don't need to live the drama with them!
Good luck finding your balance !!πŸ€—
