Has anyone with RA experienced acne that is very hard to get rid of? I started with just having them on my forehead, but now I'll get them also on my chin & cheeks. They take weeks to go away & regular acne medicine doesn't treat them. I've also tried antibiotic ointment & that helps somewhat but not as much as I'd like. I'll be talking about this with my rheumatologist when I see him in August.

let me know what doc says. I am seeing mine in 2 weeks because I am not sure if what I have is acne or something else on my cheeks. I put polysporn on them and it is clearing up.

I'm not taking prednisone, I can't have a bad reaction & swell from it I'm on methotrexte & remicade. Thanks for the input though!

If you are taking prednisone, it can make rosacea much worse. Ash your doctor, you may need to see a dermatologist.

I buy this creme from proactive that helps them go away. I forget the name of it but it's their mask. I take a q tip and dot my pimples and let it dry and not wash it off. I do it before bed and they clear up and I've had massive size ones that go away. I have crazy sensitive skin and this is the only thing that helps
