Hi there my name is Terri and yes I'm on Orencia infusions once a month
It has helped me with inflammation and taking other meds to help with the pain. But I'm also fighting OA, Fibromialgia, and Osteoporosis. The Fibromialgia is the one I can't seem to control. I miss hugs, shaking people's hands just the human touch hurts. There's times I don't say anything when my friends hug me the pain is so excurshiateing at times I just suck it up and go to the bathroom and compose my self and come out with a 😃 smile
Ouch, omg, sh**, and other words have been my vocabulary lately. The last few weeks has snowed and the temperatures has gone from -5° to 5° at night to highs of 20° to 60° and omg does my joint hurt. When I walk I pop on my feet, ankles, hips, omg my neck I sound like a bowl of Rice Krispy without the milk....lol
But I take the time off for myself and take care of me. I have never done that before, I was always taken care of others. But now I'm paying for it. Take care of you cause no one else will. Make time for you have a day just for you to see friends and family or just to take in a movie, walk threw the zoo, museums, a garden, paint, dance, just do something for you.
I have other issues and other health problems 🙃 but I won't and can't give up. I'm 63 and I just stared to care for me.

I've been taking the orencia injections for almost two months. So far I've had no noticeable improvement. But no side effects either

I did the retuxion infusion every 6 months, moved and now have a new RA doctors and now on Orencia injection every week, I prefer the self injections to the infusion

I was on Orencia injection, didnt help. But every one responds differently.

@A myRAteam Member did your doctor say how much sooner he thinks the injections might kick in? My doctor never really said. I'm starting to get a little discouraged that it hasn't started working. Maybe it will over the next couple months
