Anyone Using CBD Oil?

A myRAteam Member asked a question 💭
Royal Oak, MI

It seems that CBD oils is available everywhere now, and legally... So just wondering if anyone has been using it with any success
I bought some a while back, simply out of curiosity. My RA is pretty much under control, so I was wanting to see if the CBD oil would help with some lingering anxiety and sleep issues. And so far I'm pretty pleased. And bonus! The company I bought it from made a mistake in my order -- sending me CBD pain relief cream instead of the CBD oil, which is used under the… read more

Members shared overwhelmingly positive experiences using CBD oil for rheumatoid arthritis, with many reporting significant improvements in pain relief, reduced inflammation, better sleep, and decreased swelling in joints like hands, wrists, and knees. Several members offered practical guidance on dosing (typically 15mg to 3000mg depending on the product), emphasized the importance of finding the right brand and strength through trial and error, and recommended specific products like Charlotte's Web capsules and Elixinol oil, with some noting that capsules may work better than tinctures for RA. A recurring theme was the relief members felt in finally finding something that helped manage their symptoms, whether through CBD alone or combined with medical marijuana products, though a few members noted it didn't work for them or came with side effects like short-term memory loss.

I have used CBD oil and it does help. I also use the creams on my neck and shoulders use they are ache. I’ve tried several brands. We travel to some states where you can get better oils. But when I order I usually go to Koi brand.

I get mental and emotional relief. It helps me deal with my RA and the pain that I guess it doesn’t take away the pain but it makes it more livable

I use Charlottes' Web- 15mg capsules- Manufactured in Colorado. I purchase from Columbus Botanical, in Columbus Ohio, but the brand can be purchased on Ebay. The manager of the store, where I buy, says that th capsules are the way to go, for R/A folks- stating that the "under the tongue " drops , are for other illnesses, and marketed poorly.

I have been doing 15mg capsules, once a day, for about two months. Still have pain, but swelling has vanished. My freaky hands, look almost normal. Maybe -if I up the dose- I can eliminate the pain? I'm a believer. How much are you dosing ? Thanks, Jeff

It works perfect for me.. I use the high potency 3000 mg CBG.. I put it in my coffee and take it throughout the day. My pains have subsided substantially. And I feel like the Tin Man occasionally! I've also incorporated some RSO into my routine as well as moringa seeds. I take at least one a day.
