Infusions

Infusions

I saw my Rheumy today and we agreed to give Humira 3 more months (insurance instuctions) before moving on to infusions. I know everyone is different but what infusion medications have y'all be on & how long did it take for you to notice a difference in your symptoms?

I have been on Remicaide, Orencia, and now Actemra. The Actemra is working well, with few side effects.

I take xeljanz and it works great, plus it i pill. I believe you need to talk to your insurance company and doctor, but if they let you use it I believe you will be happy with it. Plus the manufacture has a program to help with the co-pay. Just a suggestion. I tried Orencia but it quit working for me, I then took Humira and the pain of the injection was excessive. I really love xeljanz.
