Anybody Else Have Terrible Finger Pain?

Anybody Else Have Terrible Finger Pain?

It hurts so bad before it rains, a throbbing ache at my finger joints, I get to the point with the pain that I want to bite the skin off my fingers to get rid of it. I know that makes no sense, but once the pain starts that's all i can think to work...

I think of amputation. I know it sounds crazy, but trust me that's how bad the pain can be

Yes, at times my hands hurt a lot. I put on arthritis gloves and they help a little bit. A heat pad really helps the most for me.

Hi I said the exact same thing a year ago. My hands and wrist hurt so bad, the pain was horrible. I asked if they could be cut off. People look at you like you have lost your mind. of course we don't want an amputation, but at the time you are in so much pain that's what you think. i thought I was the only one who thought that. My husband looked at me like I was crazy! I couldn't even open a soda bottle. my husband does woodworking as a hobby and he made me a contraption that allows me to open a soda bottle now by myself. I don't know how came up with it but it works.

Bless your heart!! My fingers hurt me so bad too! They look really bad from the joint damage but thats really nothing compared to the pain i feel daily! At one point i thought about having them amputated in hopes the pain would stop! But with my luck i would probably have nerve pain away! Some days feels like they will break when i try to bend them!!

My joints in my fingers are always the first to flare followed by my elbows, most days during a flare I can't move my fingers they hurt so bad, I have even had to ask my pharmacist to give me different lids on my med bottles that are easier to open because of the pain. My family and friends have said I'm just being overly dramatic so I've cut myself off from most everyone around me due to the fact they don't understand what I deal with on a regular day. I pray for all those that are suffering any of these illnesses they get much needed releif, and I pray for those who don't have it they never have to feel the pain we experience everyday.
