I have been told that I have a torn acl and torn meniscus that will require surgery. Has anyone had either or both of these conditions and had surgery for them? If so, how was the surgery and how long was your recovery?

ACL and torn meniscus need to be taken care of surgically......otherwise you will run into problems.....there is post op pain for a period of time and possibly some therapy.....if you don't have it repaired it will probably just get worse...with pain and having your knee "lock" up and be very painful.

The pain is terrible but I have been managing to go to work everyday. Thank you for your answer.
