My Vitamin D Level Has Stayed Low And Now The Doctor Has Put Me On 50,000 IU Of Vitamin D3 Once A Week. Anyone Else Taking This Much?

Yes I take 50,000 units/week. My vitamin D level is very low as well.

That is exactly what happened with me...My level had been good for 2 years!

A few times, my d level was quite low and my rheumy put me on that high a dose (prescription) for a short period of time. She has me on 2000 iu every day now and I have not had a low for several years

Im on 10,000 every week. Your D level must have been super low- mine was low, but not crazy low.
