Hi friends, I was wondering if any of you are having extremely vivid dreams? I spoke to my Specialist about this. She just nodded saying it was common and asked if they were nightmares. No nightmares, but dreams of people from long ago, my parents who have passed away, strange situations etc. I am on MTX and Plaquinal and I can only think it is a meds side effect? Members connected over experiencing unusually vivid and strange dreams while managing rheumatoid arthritis, with many attributing them to medications like Plaquenil, methotrexate, Humira, and Valium. Several members described dreams that are highly detailed, last all night, and sometimes wake them up, ranging from wonderful visits with deceased loved ones to unsettling scenarios that require self-reassurance. A recurring theme was the shared understanding that these vivid dreams are likely a side effect of their medication regimens, with members offering mutual support and humor in navigating this odd but common experience.

I have very weird dreams too, like you described. I am 99% sure it's the meds. My dreams wake me up sometimes. " It's just a dream. It's just a dream. " One day at a time. :)
