I've been on Methotrexate several months and the only time everything worked was one week 8 Methotrexate, 3 prednisone. As they backed me down the prednisone it gets worse.

I have been taking Methotrexate for 15 years, I never had any of these issues, I definitely have foggy brain, but who is the cause. Menopause, anti-depressives, who knows who is the culprit. I now take 24mg injected once a week.

You have to take Folic Acid with Rheumatrex. I still lost. All my teeth. They rotted. My hair stopped growing and thinned out. Didnt mind not having to shave my legs but I had beautiful hair. My muscles are so weak I can barely walk. It did not stop the bone damage. I saw a news clip where folks filed a class action suit against their dr for putting them on rheumatrex for just these reasons in Phoenix I think it was. Just check out the side affects please. Not worth it to me.

with the methotrexate iam getting big lips and skin rashes but I also take xeljingxr with predisone,folic acid,fluid pills,potassium,low dose asprin,juststarted the xeljing-xr but the rash didn't start til my doctor increased my methotrexate to 8 aweek I think its to much
