Question... Has anyone had an intramuscular cortisone shot that made them nauseous? I have had them many times now and this is the first one that made me feel ill. Much more sore also, but that could be due to very little sleep.

Be honest with you I must have had 50-60 of them in my knees in the past 5 years to 7 years now. I never had any of them ever make me sick but I had a few of them botched up expecially when they try to do it right in the front of the knee I do not allow that to ever happen anymore they do it on the sides or they don't do it. And sometimes Bill Head something in there whether it's a nerve or or maybe it just run into a bone and it hurts like the Dickens but nothing that severe. Now if I didn't sleep at all and I didn't eat and they did that I could possibly feel lightheaded and nausea easily. But to date I never got sick from it,yet!. I hope that was helpful.
I've had several sets of cortisone injections in neck and down entire back. Only worked for about 2 weeks. Felt a bit ill and sore and migraines for a couple of days then ok.
Same w nerve blocks entire spine. Again ill a couple days. Quit working after 10 days. Hope that helps some!
God bless
Nope no shots here i just take ibuprofen when needed
I'm going to get my second one in my neck. I'm getting the nerves in my neck burnt off but because of insurance I have to do 2 rounds of shots. Yes I hurt and it made me feel sick and sore for 2 or so days then a million bucks for around 25 days. Now I feel horrible and going for another one to get some relief
