Members explored alternative therapies for pain relief, with one member sharing their positive experience with whole-body cryotherapy (a chamber that freezes the body to 200 degrees below zero for three minutes), noting it provides about a week of relief and is preferable to pain medication despite being costly. Another member described trying ozone therapy using insufflation, sauna, water, and oil treatments, reporting improved energy levels after just two sessions and considering purchasing a personal ozone machine for long-term cost savings. A recurring theme was the willingness to travel long distances (ranging from 40 minutes to over 1,000 miles) and invest financially in treatments that offer meaningful relief, with members encouraging each other to try multiple sessions before deciding and to research providers closer to home.

I've not heard of the cryotherapy. The ozone therapy I'm looking into (and had two treatments of) is using insufflation, sauna, water, and oil infused with ozone. I had two procedures last week and i could tell a difference in my energy levels.

Cryotherapy. I go inside a machine that freezes my body to 200 below 0 for 3 minutes. It is amazing. I need to go badly. It works for about a week or so. It's very costly here in Jax but to help with pain relief I will do it. Way better then pain pills for sure. Look it up for benifits

I do the body freeze and it helps. I wanted to go today but it's a 40 minute drive and my head hurts to bad to drive

I read something about it, but didn't now it was done for RA. I'm glad it helps you and the others that have had it done.

Stay and do two treatments in a week. If you think it's for you, look into buying your own machine.
