Anyone Been On The Daily Injection Med Kineret? My Rhuemy Said Its My Last Option As I've Been On All The Other Biologics
Rituxin was the only thing that helped with me. My RD was fully active for two plus years. My entire body was swollen, I was frustrated but my doc who is wonderful was even more frustrated. It was my last option at that time, it was a huge relief. I'm disappointed Medicare will not cover enough of the cost. My doc said the home injection of Orencia was the closest to Rituxin in the way it works. It has kept the swelling down and flares are easier but I felt better from the Rituxin. Good luck to you all.
I wish I could help. I have been on most every biologic with no help. The infusion of Rituxin finally helped a LOT. Then I was approved for Disability and had to switch to home injections of Orencia. It helps but not quite as well as the infusion. Best of luck as I know that frustration of going from Med to Med with no results. I hope this works for you. I have not been on this Med of daily injections. I will ask my dr next time I see him in January about it.
Hi! I am currently working my way through different biological and they don't seem to be helping. I will ask my Rheumy about Rituxin.
I've been on the remicade infusion for almost 10 years and love it. I go in about every 6 weeks for 2 - 2 1/2 hours.
Been on it for a year. Works great. HUrts like hell tho
